Well, let’s have a look at the most booked North Devon holiday cottage to rent at the moment. Starting with the cottages that other customers are looking at and renting the most is a fantastic way to go. It is rather like taking a recommendation from an area expert. If other people are booking those cottages above everything else in the brochures, then they could also be the most suitable holiday cottages for you as well. Other customers know the best villages to visit, the top locations to stay in. So why not gain from their experience and knowledge and just see what they are go for!
One of the most selected holiday cottages available in North Devon is known quite plainly as ‘Barn’ and is found in the Kings Nympton area of North Devon. Maybe the name gives the clue that it is a barn conversion! It is a big large building, capable of holding 12 people, in 4 bedrooms – 2 family bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. Barn is actually the biggest of 7 conversions on the same farm, which is probably why it is frequently booked. It’s excellent for groups, and if your group needs more space, then there are a few smaller properties available at the same time. It is set in a beautiful location, with scenic views, a cobbled court yard and a pond. The near by village of Kings Nympton is ‘typically English’, with beautiful thatched cottages to look at. If only we could all live in such pretty cottages!
At the other end of the size range is The Roundhouse, in Swimbridge. This is part of a set of cottages, this one with just space for a romantic getaway for a couple. There are many areas of interest within a short distance and the cottages are located within their own gardens and even include their own outdoor heated pool for summer use.
The third most booked North Devon cottage is Huntsham Barn, which as a sleeps 5 nestles in size perfectly between the other two cottages. Just goes to show how size doesn’t matter! Huntsham Barn is found in Huntsham, North Devon. This is rich in wildlife as it is a conservation area. This is a converted slate stone barn and is very expansive, with its own south facing courtyard and is surrounded by wooded hills and valleys. It’s an excellent area to choose if you want to visit somewhere quiet and relaxing to visit.
